We install the sensor, you get the service. Respira provides an air quality monitoring and forecasting service through a platform that brings together sensors, environmental data and artificial intelligence.
The sensor is installed on loan: it is part of the service and remains Respira's property for the whole contract. Your institution invests in a monthly subscription that includes the installed sensor, maintenance, access to the platform (web and app), forecasts, alerts and technical support.
There is no single price: the recommended sensor and the cost of the service depend on your institution and on where you are going to install it. That is why the process works like this:
Fill out the form with the type of institution (school, university, company, municipality, home, community space), its approximate size and who approves the budget.
We look at the location, how many people are around, connectivity access and what you are going to use the information for — those factors determine the most suitable sensor and the real coverage area.
For example: Wi-Fi sensors for urban spaces, or sensors with a solar panel and self-calibration for remote areas without connectivity.
With the monthly cost of the service for your specific installation.
Installation is handled by an external provider and, once it is done, your institution can already see its information on the platform.

The sensors follow EPA and WHO standards, with the backing of MADES. They measure particulate matter; measuring gases requires a higher-end sensor and is assessed case by case.
